Party Poker Million IV

Held on the MS Oosterdam which sailed to and around Mexico between the 19th of March and the 26th of March, this poker tournament offered prizes that added upto a staggering $7,500,000.

The Cruise

Leaving on March 19 at around five in the evening, the MS Oosterdam sailed towards Mazatlan, and from there on to Puerto Vallarta. Other than the wide choice of excursions, passengers could relax and enjoy anyone of these facilities: swinning pools, shops (duty-free), Video Arcade, Movies, jacuzzis, Discotheque and a health spa. In addition, poker seminars were also offered to help the players improve their skill.

Grand Prize Winner

Michael Gracz was the grand winner of this Party Poker Million IV tournament and he got to take home a stunning $1.5 million dollars. This is the biggest prize awarded in WPT history. To win, Gracz defeated David Minto, a rocket scientist working for the Military, who was also 30 years older than Gracz.

Other Winners

  • David Minto won a million dollars.
  • Mathew Cherachal came in third, but still took away 700 thousand dollars.
  • Adam Csallany won half a million dollars and went home a happy man.
  • Paul Darden came in fifth, and won himself 300 thousand dollars.
  • Richard Kain won was in sixth place, was disappointed at his result, but glad that he got to take away prize money amounting to $200,000.

The IV Party Poker Million was the fourth of it's kind and the previous three poker tournaments were a smashing hit.
