An Indiana Senator tried to stop police officers from raiding an illegal gambling operation, as they were about to raid the house.
According to the police involved in the raid the Senator showed up at the house where the alleged illegal activities were going on and during the raid tried to talk officers out of doing their jobs.
The police report said that the senator told officer that he knows what these people are doing is illegal, but that they are not hurting anyone.

A Comanche County judge has ruled that 2 former law officers who have been accused of gambling at the Chickasha Elks lodge should stand trial.
The same judge also ruled that there was not enough evidence against a third officer also accused of gambling at the elks lodge to charge him with Felony Gambling by a Peace Officer.
