This months Philadelphia Magazine features the story of Jordan Berkowitz. An 18 year old who is an online poker champion. Berkowitz, who dropped out of high school, won 57,000 dollars in this years poker World Online Championship, and more than 50000 dollars in at least dozen online poker tournaments. He owns a BMW and a Range Rover, and he is still left with enough money to spend on jewelry, clothes and watches.
Although he is an online poker champion now, Berkowitz still remembers losing thousands of dollars in online casinos, a few years ago. I regretted not being in school, he says. Today he says it was worth it, but he does not recommend this life style to every one. Not every one can become a millionaire in a short time, he says.
When asked about his future plans, Jordan Berkowitz says he does not include online gambling in it. Now, he says, he is planning to take a break from poker playing, and perhaps replace it with playing in the stock market.
