Phil Gordon leaves celeb Poker show

The host of the show Celebrity Poker Showdown may be leaving to do other things.

It has been reported that Phil Gordon, poker player and host of the Celebrity Poker Showdown is allegedly leaving the show after hosting the show for 42 episodes. Gordon has been reported as saying that since his contract has ended he will take advantage of his new found popularity to move on to bigger and better things. It has also been reported that Phil Hellmuth with be replacing Gordon on the show.

The show Celebrity Poker Showdown is shot with a live audience in the Las Vegas Palms casino hotel and casino. Each episode has 5 celebrities fighting it out for part of the 250,000 prize. Most of the Celebrities donate any winnings to the charity of their choice.
