Partygaming, the company profits increased to 320 million dollars in the last quarter of 2005. Partygaming operates Partypoker, the biggest online poker room on the internet. According to the company, more than 220,000 new poker players signed up to the Partypoker since October 2005, comparing to about 180,000 new customers signed up in the earlier year.

The company has been trying to entice more players from outside the US. The US is considered as an uncertain market regarding the state low ambiguous approach towards online gaming. According to Partygaming spokesperson, less than a third of the new online poker players came from outside the US, while in the last quarter of 2004 only 14 percent of the new customers were from outside the US.

In the meantime, the company profits from online gaming increased to 82 million dollars, which is eight times more than the previous year. The company profits were increased due to blackjack games that were sold to Partypoker players. Playgaming chief executive, Richard Segal, said that the success of blackjack games increased the company gaming incomes.
