The phenomenon of online poker has lately produced many serious poker players who can compete and overcome famous real life players. The fact that two last winners of the World Series of Poker were online players tells a lot in favor of the internet poker industry.
Probably one of the reasons of the success of online poker players is the fact that playing online allows them to have more hours of practice. Besides, it lets unknown players who do not have serious ambitions to try and enter grand poker events through online satellite tournaments they can play risking small amounts of money from the comfort of their home. However, the fact is that the sport of poker has grown amazingly in the last few years, thanks to the online poker industry that produced millions of poker players and created a serious disturbance to real life poker stars.
