Hayden Christensen is considered to play the poker star Phil Hellmuth Jr. in a film based on his life story. The film is considered to be named The Madison Kid.
Hellmuth said he was pleased with the choice of Christensen, mostly known for his role as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars. Hellmuth no longer lives in Madison, he is a resident of Palo Alto, California since 1994, but he keeps visiting his hometown twice a year.
Hellmuth is now busy working on an autobiography. He plans to sell it only after the movie is approved. Hellmuth is planning to host Camp Hellmuth, which is scheduled to February 9-11. The Camp is planned to be a huge poker weekend that will take place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. He is also working on a deal with a TV station on hosting a reality poker game show, in addition to letting a mobile phone company use his name to a mobile poker game.
