Honolulu police raided a business in Keeaumoku Street for allegedly hosting an illegal gambling activity. The police raided the place two nights in a row during the last week. According to H.P.D.s Narcotics-Vice Division, the same business was raided at least four times since December 2004.
According to Honolulu police, during their first raid in December 2004, they found gambling machines. Police investigations found that the illegal gambling activity started again.
During the first raid this week, the police arrested Huizhu Ye for promoting gambling and four people suspected for other offences. During the second raid that took place a night afterwards, the police arrested three more people on promoting gambling. All of them were released on a 2,000 dollars bail each. The police seized from the place gambling machines and cash.
