How to Play War in an Online Casino

p>War in the casino and the kids%u2019 game are both 2 player games. In the kids game the object of war is to win all the other players cards as opposed to the casino War game where the object is to win money.

In the kids game of War, a 52 card deck is spit between the 2 players, 26 cards each. Then without looking at the cards each player will turn over the top card on their pile. Whoever has the highest card is the winner of that round and gets to keep both cards. If both players turn over their cards and the cards are the same a War is declared. Each player will put down 3 cards. 2 of these cards are face down and the 3rd is face up. The player with the high card in this round gets to keep all the cards put down for the war including the 2 original cards that tied. A winner is declared when one player holds all 52 cards.

The casino version of War is played almost exactly the same, with some slight differences.

The object of the casino War game is not to win cards, but to win money. A deck of cards is not split in half for this game. The dealer uses a shoe holding 6 decks of cards and deals out each round one at a time.

In the Casino version of War the player places a bet before the round begins. After this the dealer will deal 2 cads both face up, one for the player and one for him. If the player wins he is paid even money on his bet. In the event of a tie the player has the option to retain half his bet and start a new round or he may declare War. If the player plays out the hand the dealer will Burn 3 cards from the shoe then deal the player 1 cards and 1 for himself. If the player wins he will keep his original bet and get paid even money on the War bet. If the player loses the dealer takes all the players bets.
